Cure Hemroids

How to Cure Hemroids – Different Options

If you are suffering from hemroids and searching for a way to cure hemroids effectively and permanently,  then you probably know some of the hemroids treatment methods described below.

In this page, I am going to explain various methods used for hemroids treatment from dietary changes to hemorrhoidectomy.

1. Lifestyle changes

Correcting the faulty health habits is essential for hemroids treatment and more importantly for preventing them from coming back. These include dietary modifications as increasing the consumption of a high-fiber diet to avoid constipation and decrease straining during defecation. High-fiber diet is the single most important thing to start with to treat hemroids and also to prevent them.  Increasing fiber in diet should be combined with drinking sufficient amounts of water to avoid dehydration.

Also, correcting unhealthy bowel habits is equally necessary. Examples of these faulty habits are excessive (habitual) straining during bowel movements, prolonged sitting on the toilet, reading papers in the toilet (it is always said that the toilet should not be used as a library) and holding stools for long time before going to the bathroom.

2. Local medical creams, gels, and suppositories

Recent studies showed that these drugs are totally ineffective in curing hemroids. Even if they have some soothing effect, it is just a temporary effect ; that is once the drug is stopped, symptoms will come back again. Another disadvantage is the side effects which may occur with prolonged use, so most doctors will recommend you not to take these medicines for more than one week otherwise side effects like skin rash, inflammation or thinning may occur.

3. Non-surgical invasive procedures

These are minimally invasive procedures that can be done in an outpatient setting and include rubber band ligation, injection sclerotherapy and photocoagulation. They are usually indicated in cases of severe pain or persistent bleeding to achieve rapid hemroids relief. Although they are essentially simple, if done by inexperienced hands, they carry the risk of local nerve injury and leakage of stools.

4. Hemroids surgery

Surgery as hemorrhoidectomy eradicates the hemroids and solves the problem. However, the post-operative pain may be intolerable and other complications may occur. In addition, as surgery cures hemroids anatomically and not pathologically, the hemroids are very liable to recur after surgery. “Surgery deals with the results not with the causes”. So, as long as the cause (s) is still present, you may expect hemroids to come back again after a long or short time.

As hemroids are the result of several factors, some are inherited and others are acquired, some are related to lifestyle and others are related to dietary habits, your approach to curing hemroids should not be based on a “drug” or on an “operation”, but rather on a “SYSTEM” that takes into consideration all the factors and causes including the hidden ones, acts with hemroids as a part of the body not as an isolated problem.

Now, there is one cure that I fully recommend and it’s a natural one that’s rarely used in the conventional world of big pharmacy. Most importantly, it’s super effective unlike some weak home remedy.
