Natural Hemroid Treatment
Natural hemroids treatment has been proved as an effective treatment of hemroids that not only controls the symptoms of hemroids but also is able to cure hemroids and prevent their recurrence.
The following natural remedied are used in treatment of hemroids either alone or mixed with other herbs.
- Fiber containing herbs
High fiber intake is one of the most effective methods in treatment of hemroids. Fiber increase the bulk of stools, preventing constipation which is a major cause of excessive straining responsible for development of hemroids.
The average fiber intake in the United States is ranging from 8 to 15 gm per day. This should be increased to about 25 gm daily. Fiber intake can be increased by consuming higher amounts of fresh fruits and vegetables, and whole grain.

Remember that sufficient water intake ia also important. You should consume at least 8 cups daily.
- Bilberry.
Bilberry contains Bioflavonoids which act by stabilizing blood vessel walls and anti-inflammatory actions. Practically, they are found to reduce pain, itching and bleeding, these symptoms usually disappear by the fourth day. They are one of the safest herbs making them more suitable for use by pregnant women.
- Butcher’s Broom.
It acts by steroids-like actions leading to strong anti-inflammatory effects and vasoconstrictor effects. The end result is that it causes vasoconstriction of blood vessels and strengthens their walls, reduces inflammation and swelling.
- Horse Chestnut.
It also has anti-inflammatory effects and anti-edema effects, and stabilizes blood vessels walls. Therefore, it reduces pain, bleeding and swelling. Note that Horse Chestnut has side effects if used in high doses.
For the best results from natural hemroid treatment, these herbs are mixed together in a certain percentage, so that they act in synergism. This is the idea of most commercially available natural hemroid treatments. Although the constituents of these products are readily known, and can be prepared at home, it is not a good idea to prepare them yourself, because it is both time and money consuming to do this.
You should note that herbs are finally drugs and they may cause side effects, so in pregnant or lactating women, and in patients suffering of any other disease or taking any other medicines, a medical professional should be consulted before use of these herbs.
